Say Goodbye to Facebook Scammers Overnight With This One Simple Trick!
And it only take a couple of minutes to apply...
In the past, many of us have fallen victim to the relentless and frustrating tactics of scammers on Facebook. These scammers bombard you with posts, comments, direct messages and emails, typically threatening to close down your page unless you act within a very short timescale, creating a sense of urgency and panic. This problem is particularly prevalent for those of us running ads on the platform, making us prime targets.
Despite efforts to block and report these messages to Facebook, the scammers will simply reappear under a new identity, turning the process into a frustrating and time consuming never-ending game of whack-a-mole. This constant barrage of unwanted messages seems impossible to escape.
Sick of it? So are we!
Happily, we have a solution, an alternative approach that can prove to be highly effective very quickly. By simply excluding the worst offending locations from viewing your Facebook page you will notice a significant drop in scam messages, almost overnight.

1) Log into your Facebook account, then, in the top right hand corner of your page, click your photo (logo in this case):
2) From the drop down menu select ‘Settings & privacy’
3) Then select ‘Settings’ which opens a new page:
4) On the left hand menu, scroll down and click on ‘Followers and public content’
5) In the right hand section, scroll down and click the drop down box ‘Country Restrictions’ from here you can toggle between either a) showing to certain countries only or, b) hide from countries. The optimum approach is typically to hide from the worst offending countries which are shown in the image below. Simply type the country into the search bar and hit return:
6) Finally, click ‘Save’ and you’re done!
